How Roberto's Dough started

From a pub in Barford to now....

In March 2020 my wife and I took over the running of a pub in the small village of Barford. The pub were selling pizza made from frozen dough and topped with some basic ingredients, they were ok but I knew they could be so much better

Having spent a lot of time in Italy when I was younger and having made pizza all my life I set out a plan to elevate what the pub could offer

I bought two Gozney Roccbox pizza ovens, which are capable of reaching the high temperature required to cook Neapolitan pizzas and switched the supplier of all of the ingredients to Adi Maria

We moved the whole process of preparing, cooking and serving the pizzas into an oak framed outdoor area which meant everyone could see their pizza being prepared and cooked to order

Roberto's Dough

We made thousands of pizza whilst we were at The Granville pub, every one made from scratch and constantly trying to improve what were serving

We left the pub in 2022, but never stopped improving the pizza and had a plan to get back making and selling amazing Neapolitan pizza...... it's just taken a little while to get everything into place

In 2026 we'll be selling pizza at various markets around the Stratford upon Avon area and also available for events and occasions
